ECR Wins Opener

Junior forward Maurice Morton and sophomore Tony Alas scored second half goals to beat Burbank 2-1 on Tuesday night. After a first half that was dominated by the Conquistadores, Burbank opened the scoring in the second half off a long throw in that was headed in back post. ECR quickly responded as Mo ran past the Burbank defense and netted in the teams first goal of the season. Tony then scored the winning goal with 10 minutes remainiing to lift ECR to victory. Great Job Boys!! JV won 5-0. Sophomore Kevin Kunitsky scored 3 goals for ECR. Great Job ELCO!!
